It has been the experience of JMSB medical equipment planning, in the protocol set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, is a task involved in meeting many ends for successful results. This involves skilled manpower both in engineering and medical field with insights and experience in the processes involved and in line with the latest happenings in the technology and medical fronts. With the necessary infrastructure to handle these complex situations, JMSB bids to the Turnkey Contractor for the consultancy of medical equipment planning, co-ordination of delivery, testing and commissioning and warranty management / maintenance.

The consultancy shall include the following activities.

1. Medical Equipment Planning
2. Co-ordination of Delivery, Testing and Commissioning & Documentation
3. Warranty Management / Maintenance

1. Medical Equipment Planning – Consultancy
	The scope of work of JMSB shall include:
	1.1		Planning of medical and / or medical related equipment
	1.2		Representation as equipment planner on behalf of Turnkey Contractor on all project meetings
	1.3		Preparation of room data list and Bill of Quantity
	1.4		Interaction and getting approval from end users for the room data
	1.5		Preparation of technical specifications for the major equipment listed in room data list
	1.6		Preparation of technical specification for the tendering process
	1.7		Evaluation of equipment quoted in tender on the basis of technical specification and price
	1.8		Preparation of delivery schedule of the equipment

2. Co-ordination of Delivery, Testing and Commissioning
	The scope of work of JMSB shall include:
	2.1		Co-ordination of delivery, testing and commissioning of medical equipment covered under the planning activity
	2.2		Planning and monitoring delivery schedule
	2.3		Taking charge of the equipment being delivered at site and distribution of medical equipment to respective room locations
	2.4		Verification of the delivered equipment to suit the specifications of purchase agreement
	2.5		Scheduling and coordinating the installation with all consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers
	2.6		Planning and monitoring installation progress
	2.7		Planning and monitoring of the testing commissioning schedule in co-ordination of the development
	2.8		Witnessing and verifying the testing and commissioning
	2.9		Preparation of final Bill of quantity
	2.10		Planning of user training schedule

3. Warranty Management / Maintenance
	The scope of work of JMSB shall include:
	3.1		Warranty management / maintenance shall include the medical equipment covered under the planning activity
	3.2		Preparation and check /inspection of inventory list & Harta Modal Forms
	3.3		Coordinating the delivery of equipment consumables
	3.4		Preparation of preventive maintenance schedule
	3.5		Co-ordination between suppliers and user for carrying out the preventive maintenance schedule
	3.6		Co-ordination with suppliers on breakdown repair
	3.7		Monitoring the uptime of each equipment
	3.8		Co-ordination between suppliers and user for user training wherever required
